I fell in love with Urgup, the best place to stay in Cappadocia, and the wonderful staff at the Cappadocia Palace contributed to my amazing time there. While I could afford a cave hotel, I wanted to spend a week in the area (most people only spend 2-3 days) so chose instead to stay here for very reasonable prices, and spend my money on other things. I made a great choice with this hotel especially because Aden and Bekir the main staff treated me so special, and everyone one was so eager to help you in any way. While the rooms are simple, the beds are very comfortable, clean housekeeping service everyday, and I had a view of the cave hills behind the center of town. The cave rooms in the hotel are great too. It is a nice old monastery building with a comfy outdoor area where you can relax on cushion chairs after a long day of touring. There is a full breakfast with good breads or pastry. As a single woman traveler, they staff were very protective and made sure I had everything I needed. They go out of there way to make sure guests are set up with tours, transportation, and other activities. My favorite time was when Aden turned up the music and started dancing with a group of us showing us the Turkey dance, great sense of humor and lots of fun! This Hotel does deserve lots of accolades! IT IS EXCELLENT!!! The hotel is right behind the center of town, very quiet, and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, ATMs, the bus station. But the best reason to stay here besides the affordable prices and convenient location is because of the suberb staff - especially Aden and Bekir - they are caring, giving, fun, efficient, helpful and just provide the best service, they made it wonderful! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY HERE!

“Best cave rooms and service in town” Cappadocia Palace kissesfromdc 1 contribution Washington, DC Sep 2, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway The cave room at Cappadocia Palace was amazing. The room was spacious, bright and airy with a bed so cozy that the only thing that got me out of it in the morning was the scrumptious breakfast waiting for me in the dining hall. The bathroom was huge with excellent water pressure and temperature. The jacuzzi was a plus after all the hikes and tours. I also enjoyed the free internet access. The hotel is a step away from shopping, sights and restaurants/bars, but it's still very quiet. The staff at Cappadocia Palace was friendly and knowledgeable. I asked about places to eat, party and shop, and they gave me excellent suggestions and went out of their way to mark directions on a map. They also called to confirm bus departures and other details of our itinerary. Cappadocia Palace went beyond my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again.

Dear Palace Hotel Staff Merhaba ! Our family stayed at your hotel for three nights, 12th-14th August. We travelled around in Turkey for 9 days and got very good memories seeing some world heritages. And as the same as the sightseeing spots, we enjoyed staying at your hotel and were impressed by your friendly hospitality. We’ve stayed at hotels in foreign countries, including this trip to Turkey. And what we can say clearly is ‘Your hotel is the most memorable one ever.’ I had regarded a hotel just as accommodation before. But we could spend a happy time because your staff provided your kind service for us.

On my journey through Turkey, I knew I couldn't go without checking out the ancient civilizations of Cappadocia. I easily booked it and took the overnight bus from Istanbul to Urgup, where I was then dropped off at Cappadocia Palace. The people of course were very friendly and receptive to my needs and did not have an issue with an early check-in so I could drop off my belongings and take a tour of the Cappadocian caves that same day. The Cave Palace is really a treat that everyone should experience. Rustic but first class in the features my room had; a full bathroom with jucuzzi tub, court yard view, and very much like being in a castle. Buffet breakfast each morning in the restaurant was simple but typical Turkish breakfast and very delicious. The staff are always friendly and always there to accomodate with recommendations of the town and any particular tours. Also the free internet service was very handy for staying in touch with home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cappadocia Palace and am confident in recommending travellers to stay with them.
